Set amongst 2,750 sqm of mature, riverside gardens overflowing with tropical flora and water features, we designed the villa as a series of charming thatched buildings in the style of a traditional Balinese family compound home.

At Villa Surya Damai you will find spacious bedroom pavilions with comfortably furnished private terraces and pretty ensuite garden bathrooms, encircling a welcoming, open-sided living pavilion that faces the centrepiece 18-metre pool. Sun loungers, outdoor and indoor dining areas and an additional lounge/TV room on a wide upstairs veranda, provide more than enough options for both private and social moments. Recreational facilities include three TVs and DVD players, iPod docks and a tennis court.

Villa Surya Damai features several alang alang thatch-roofed pavilions generously spread throughout an immaculately landscaped riverside garden. At the centre of the compound, and facing the pool, is an informal, open-sided living room. Stepping-stone pathways set in lush green lawns lead to a master suite, principal guest suite and a double-storey pavilion, containing three bedrooms and a second, veranda-style, living area. Another pavilion, overlooking the swimming pool, houses the formal dining room and adjoining kitchen. A hard tennis court rests in the far corner of the grounds.

• Floors: The villa has three Pavilions built across 2 levels, two suites, an infinity-edge pool, and a tennis court; Master Bedroom (or Bedroom 1) with two timber verandas and air-conditioned sitting room; Principal Guest Suite (or Bedroom 2) with veranda; Pavilion 1 with one level (Living Pavilion) with open-sided living room on the ground floor overlooking the pool and stone pool deck with single lounge chairs and pool umbrellas; Pavilion 2 with two levels with adjacent Bedroom 3 and Bedroom 4 on the ground floor and Bedroom 5 on the second level with veranda living area and paddy views; Pavilion 3 with one level with water feature, dining room and adjoining fully-equipped kitchen on the ground floor
• Living & Dining Areas: Fan cooled open-sided living pavilion overlooking the pool and gardens. Fan cooled timber veranda makes alternative living area, with L-shaped sofas and floor cushions. Dining room encased in glass folding doors with aged teak dining table and upholstered chairs that can sit up to 12 persons. Poolside al fresco dining area that can sit up to 8 persons.
• Pool size: Infinity-edge swimming pool surrounded by stone pool deck (18m x 5m x 2.0 m depth).
• Dining: Private Chef (extra cost) is experienced in Western, Chinese, Asian, Vegetarian and children's dishes. Special requests can be accommodated (including special diets). All meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, floating breakfast) can be arranged in advance.
• Kitchen: Oven, refrigerator, freezer, coffee machine, microwave, juicer, blender, toaster, electric kettle, wine glasses, stove top, rice cooker, BBQ, water dispenser.
